Aaron of Pinsk, also known as Aharon Kretinger, was a prominent Belarusian rabbi who played a significant role in the Jewish community. He served as a rabbi in Kretinga, located in the Kovno Governorate, before moving to Pinsk, where he would eventually pass away in 1841. Throughout his career, Aaron of Pinsk demonstrated a deep understanding of Jewish scripture and tradition.

Aaron of Pinsk's most notable literary contribution is the book Tosafot Aharon, in which he provided insightful commentary on various Talmudic treatises, including Zera'im, Mo'ed, and Niddah.
